Quiet Forms
A solo presentation of new sculptural work exploring restraint, repetition, and the language of the everyday object.

Concept
Quiet Forms gathered three years of studio research into a single room: sixteen objects, each refined to its essential gesture. The exhibition asked what remains when ornament is removed and only proportion, surface, and shadow are left to carry meaning.
Working closely with the artist over an eighteen-month development period, the curatorial framework foregrounded slowness — of looking, of making, of attribution — as a counterweight to the accelerated cycles of contemporary display.

“A confident, exacting debut from one of West Africa's most disciplined emerging curatorial voices.”
